What is "rush"?
During rush, women who are interested in joining a sorority can meet the sisters at organized events, with no obligation to join after the rush period ends.
What is a "bid"?
A bid is an invitation extended to someone to join a sorority.
What is the New Member Process?
It's a period of adjustment to Greek life for women who have accepted their bids. At this time, new members learn about the sorority values and get to know the sisters better!
How is aKDPhi different from a Panhellenic Sorority?
As an Asian-interest (NOT Asian-exclusive) sorority, we focus on expanding our knowledge of different cultures, Asian and otherwise. We are also smaller in size so we grow closer to each other!
alpha Kappa Delta Phi is the largest nationwide sorority, with sisters all over the country. We provide extensive networking, traveling, and career opportunities.
